Garmendale Engineering Ltd is used to working on a wide range of fabrication and manufacturing contracts. Our in house design capability allows us to work closely with our clients to develop an existing design, or create an innovative solution to our customer’s often complex requirements. With on site facilities including a machining capability, state of the art welding machines, fully coded welders and NDT testing facility, we are in short the complete one stop shop.

Priding ourselves in having a wide experience in the welding of specialist materials, we have carried out repairs to a wide range of equipment that has been manufactured out of materials ranging from cast iron through to stainless steel, Aluminium and all forms of exotic materials, including copper and brass.
 
To complement our wide fabrication and machining facilities, GEL have fully trained and equipped installation teams, which operate Nationwide, are confined space and first aid trained, and have regular Health & Safety refresher courses. GEL on site engineers all carry CSCS cards (construction industry requirement), and the company is registered with Safe Contractor, which is an organization dedicated to the highest levels of Health & Safety. Our facilities are fully compliant with our in house ISO 9001-2001 system.

Structural Enginnering

GEL is certified to design and construct all types of steel frame buildings. Our 11,000 square foot purpose built factory and offices in Ilkeston are just one example of many that have been built over the last 30 years.
