GEL is highly experienced in working for the water industry. We have been tasked with a variety of work for all the major water utility companies and their main contractors throughout the UK, on both clean water and dirty water treatment projects.

Our in house design capability enables us to cater for any bespoke equipment requirements, including pumping station and half bridge scraper designs. GEL have designed, built and installed a number of Half Bridge scrapers for Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water Solutions and many others.

In house Project Managers control the project from outset to final testing and commissioning, and our engineers are experienced in producing special fabricated pipe work in both carbon (Skotch coated) and stainless steels.

The installation teams have fully equipped transport to deal with every type of installation, and all carry their National Water Hygiene cards. They are also CSCS card holders. They are trained to work within a confined space and have all the relevant certificates to safely operate fork lift trucks, overhead gantry’s, cherry pickers and many other types of plant equipment.
