Electric Boats by Garmendale
Electric boats by Garmendale are a simple addition to any open water within a park, attraction or location. They are super efficient and the batteries hold enough charge for them to run for a full 10 hour working day.
Designed specifically for the attractions and theme park operator, they can carry two or three people, but are every bit as happy with one person at the helm. The captain has full steering and throttle control, with variable speed up to 4 knots.
The boat body consists of a 2 piece GRP unit, comprising of GRP seat and back pad fitted with a steering wheel. At the front of the boat under the hatch there is a charging socket to enable the boat to be plugged in for charging and a battery status gauge.
The batteries are located at the rear of the vehicle in GRP housing below the rear hatch cover. Within the body there is one stainless steel handle and two stainless steel bar handrails to the front of the cockpit.
The drive is via a submerged motor drive and propeller unit, positioned at the bow protected with a stainless steel guard. This unit not only provide the drive but direction of travel via a shaft coupling through the hull of the boat onto the steering coupling controlled via the steering wheel in the cockpit.
