Garmendale Engineering Ltd is a multi-disciplined Engineering company, which is based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, which is a central location, close to the motorways which make it ideal for carrying out work across the UK. 

The Company specializes in all forms of Engineering from simple fabrications to more complex and demanding projects which require a high input of engineering expertise usually from the early stages of the project through to post contract support. Although the majority of our work is involved in the Mechanical Engineering field, we have expertise in Electrical, Electronic, Structural, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Civil sectors.

GEL have in house design capabilities and for major schemes use a number of outside approved design consultants. GEL are a fully ISO 9001 – 2000 Quality Approved company and are members of NAFLIC, British Standards Institute, ALES and BALPPA.

GEL operates nationwide and offers a one-stop, efficient and effective service to clients, however complex their project requirements.

GEL’s client base includes London Eye, Rolls Royce, British Gypsum, Lear Corporation, Tussauds Group, and many others.

GEL Carry out Mechanical Installation across many industries including the Water Industry. All our engineers travel in fully equipped Vans and all have CSCS and confined space qualifications. GEL take Health & Safety very importantly and we have just registered with the Safe contractors association, which only allows contractors to join who have a very good record in Health & Safety.
